Q) What are the activity tracking requirements?  Is there a database system that the provider is required to utilize?

A) No database system is utilized.  Contractor will have meetings, conversations and reporting requirements as prescribe by ACDJFS Family Stability personnel.
 

Q) Are there funds available for referral to education and training and if so, who would conduct and monitor that activity?

A) The contractor can provide services or arrange for service provision through formal and informal service delivery agreements.  Contractors are responsible to monitor and assure that needed services are provided and effective.  


Q) Will the provider have to actually transport participants or "provide arrangements" for transportation?

A) Either arrangement is allowable.  Contractors must provide for transportation when needed.


Q) What are the participation hour requirements for participants?

A) This information is provided by the ACDJFS personnel when the participant is placed in the program.


Q) What is the County's definition of Job Coach and Mentoring?

A) There is no county specific definition.  The terms are similar in regard to this RFP and the general meaning is to help and support the participant in obtaining and maintaining unsubsidized employment.


Q) What are the requirements for Job Retention?

A) There is no prescribed time length. The goal of welfare reform is self sufficiency.  To that end, programs should be designed to achieve long-term, sustainable employment to move participants from welfare to work.


Q) What paperwork is required to be completed for each participant?

A) Instruction on required documentation will be given by the ACDJFS Family Stability personnel.  Bidders may propose documentation that they are able to supply and ACDJFS personnel can determine if that documentation supplies the needed data.


Q) What is the County's definition of follow along services?

A) There is no county specific definition.  The general meaning is continuous monitoring and support to identify and remove barriers to sustainable employment.


Q) Is there currently Work Experience available?  If so who is responsible for the Workman's Compensation Insurance?


A) Work site identification and development is the responsibility of the contractor.  ACDJFS carries worker's compensation coverage for participants.


Q) Who provided this service in the past? Who is the current provider?

A) The provider is and has been Transformation Network.
